Luxury settles in Bilbao

Radisson opened the first 5-star luxury hotel in Bilbao earlier this year. After the opening in Seville last summer of the first hotel in Spain of the Radisson Collection brand, Bilbao is the second city chosen by the Radisson hotel group to implement its premium brand. The new hotel is located on Gran Vía, inside a neoclassical building, it has 137 rooms - including two suites on the top floor, with private terraces, Jacuzzi and views of the city, as well as a gym, spa with indoor pool with waterfall and a yoga studio.
 
One of its strengths is its gastronomy space, NKO, which bears the stamp of the Basque chef Eneko Atxa, from Azurmendi, located on the roof, a culinary project that combines two gastronomic cultures: the Basque, the chef's original, and the Japanese, cuisine that Atxa is very aware of, since he has a restaurant in Tokyo.

In terms of sustainability, it has received the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Platinum certification for being a green building that consumes 47% less energy and 40% less water compared to similar ones. The international hotel chain Radisson plans to open 20 more hotels in Spain in the coming years.
