Since the last semester of 2021, Barcelona is bursting with hotel openings, with two grand hotel chains opened, ME Barcelona (5 stars) and the Intercontinental Barcelona (5 stars). With the start of 2022, four more properties opened, these include Casa Sagnier (boutique hotel), The Hoxton (4 stars), Holiday Inn (4 stars) and One Shot Arago 257 (3 stars).

1) ME Barcelona opens their first property in Barcelona, in the prime location of Passeig de Gràcia, the town Golden Mile. The five property has 164 rooms where innovation, art, music, and technology are combined, as well as, two restaurants, an incredible rooftop, a spa, and gym area, and more than 600 m2 of versatile spaces for corporate events.

2) Intercontinental Barcelona located in the heart of Montjuic with 273 luxurious rooms at your disposal. Enjoy a drink at the Gebre bar or the magnificent 173 rooftop bar followed by a diner a Quirat restaurant. For your meeting the hotel has 18 separate meeting rooms, accommodating different capacities in various seating arrangements and can host from 10 to 1000 people.

3) The Hoxton Poblenou the London-based group opened a distinct 4 stars property at the hip and international quarter of Poblenou, featuring 240 rooms, a bar, rooftop with a Mexican cuisine, and another restaurant inside the hotel with Detroit style pizza, all in upbeat environment. Not to mention, a fun and unique meeting space composed of four different rooms.
