Adventure and Elegance in the Azores
From 18th until 22nd of May, sixty top performers and insurance executives from France arrived in Ponta Delgada to discover the natural wonders of São Miguel, a 4-day program, where every moment was designed to inspire connection, adventure, and relaxation among participants. From the airport, a warm meet & greet by Abreu staff set the tone for welcoming start, followed by a smooth transfer to their hotel and first evening started with a warm welcome on property.
The adventure began with a day immersed in the breathtaking landscapes of Sete Cidades. Guests explored the lagoon by Jeep and kayak, surrounded by emerald waters and dramatic volcanic scenery, then enjoying a relaxed lunch at Quinta da Queiró. Returning to the hotel to recharge before an exquisite dinner at Forte Terrace Restaurant, where local flavors and fine dining highlight the island’s culinary heritage.
São Miguel’s adventure continued with an adrenaline-packed day of Big Truck rides, canyoning, and visits to the iconic Lagoa do Fogo. Each experience offered both exhilaration and awe, whilst blending with the raw beauty of the Azorean landscapes. Lunch at Terra Nostra Garden provided a serene pause amid lush gardens, completing a day that balanced thrill and tranquility.
The final evening combined elegance with intimacy, as we brought the group to José Canto Greenhouse for a white-themed night, where the flavors of the island embraced with warm stories participants shared. During these days, São Miguel Island revealed itself in all its glory, a location where natural beauty, adventure, and welcoming hospitality came together, creating an unforgettable experience for our participants.
