We recently hosted 120 guests extending their Mediterranean cruise with an exclusive post-cruise experience in Madrid, a seamless journey from the southern coast to Spain's vibrant capital.
The experience began in Málaga, where we orchestrated every detail: luggage was collected at the port, carefully labeled, and sent directly to Madrid while guests explored the city. A guided tour showcased Málaga's charm, complete with tastings of the region's finest wines, before the group boarded a high-speed train to Madrid. Two entire train cars were reserved exclusively for them, featuring premium service and lunch during the scenic journey north.
Upon arrival at the Meliá Castilla, guests were welcomed with private check-in and a glass of cava, luggage already waiting in their rooms. That evening, a private welcome dinner accompanied by a live guitarist set the tone for their Madrid experience.
The second day revealed the city's treasures: a panoramic bus tour followed by a walking exploration of Madrid's iconic landmarks. Lunch was enjoyed freely around the Mercado de San Miguel, allowing guests to discover local gastronomy at their own pace, before a private afternoon tour of the Royal Palace. The evening culminated with a farewell dinner at La Masía de José Luis, a traditional Spanish estate just minutes from the city center, where welcome cocktails in the gardens preceded an unforgettable seated dinner.
On departure day, after more than a month exploring Europe, a private breakfast and over 30 coordinated transfers ensured everyone reached the airport smoothly. From sea to city, it was the perfect conclusion to an extraordinary European adventure.
