Art, Adventure and Flavors of Catalonia

Barcelona & Girona

Barcelona and Girona are two jewels of Catalonia, each offering a journey through time, culture, and landscapes that stir the imagination. Barcelona dazzles with Gaudí’s bold vision, transforming stone into poetry. Girona, quieter yet deeply captivating, carries the echoes of Roman walls, medieval alleyways, and riverside charm. Together, they create an experience that blends discovery, adventure, and flavors to remember, perfect for a group of 80 people.

Day 1 – Barcelona’s Icons, Girona’s Timeless Streets
The journey begins in Barcelona, where history and creativity meet under the Mediterranean sun. Highlights include the soaring Sagrada Família, Gaudí’s whimsical works on Passeig de Gràcia, and the colorful Park Güell overlooking the city. In the afternoon, we transfer to Girona, a city with 2,000 years of history. Its Jewish Quarter whispers stories of the past, while shaded squares and cobbled lanes glow in the evening. A welcome dinner sets the tone for the days ahead.

Day 2 – From Medieval Alleys to Mediterranean Waves
The day opens with a guided walk through Girona’s old quarter, with exclusive access to hidden courtyards and historic sites. Next, the Costa Brava beckons with a kayak excursion across turquoise bays and sea caves. For the adventurous, a canyoning experience offers the thrill of sliding and swimming through landscapes sculpted by water. In the afternoon, culture and gastronomy come together in the Empordà wine region. We begin with an olive oil tasting, discovering the heritage of this Mediterranean staple, before stepping into the vineyards for a private wine tour and tasting. The day concludes with a traditional Catalan dinner paired with local wines, a perfect blend of land, flavor, and tradition.

Day 3 – Wine, Light & Farewell to Catalonia
Our final morning leads to the Penedès, home to the iconic Codorníu Cava winery, where underground tunnels and modernist architecture frame an elegant tasting. The journey closes in Sitges, a seaside town that has long inspired artists with its light, beaches, and bohemian soul. Narrow streets, seafront mansions, and the silhouette of the church of San Bartolomé and Santa Tecla capture the essence of coastal Catalonia.

With a final transfer to Barcelona Airport, we leave Catalonia carrying not just memories, but stories, flavors, and moments that linger long after the journey ends.
