Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting an exclusive event for 120 American guests at the striking Forte da Crismina, perched above the wild Atlantic coast in Guincho, Cascais.
Just 30 minutes from Lisbon, this historic fort offered the perfect setting for an evening that felt truly out of the ordinary. Surrounded by cliffs, crashing waves, and salty sea breeze, guests stepped into a space where raw nature meets understated elegance.
The evening began with sunset cocktails on the fort’s terrace, accompanied by the soulful sounds of a live saxophone duo, as the sky shifted from gold to deep indigo. The scene was cinematic, panoramic ocean views, wind in the hair, and glasses clinking in rhythm with the waves.
As night fell, guests moved indoors for an intimate dinner featuring seasonal Portuguese flavors and regional wines. The atmosphere was timeless and immersive, enhanced by ambient lighting, blue-and-white electric violins. The evening pulsed with energy, not through a DJ, but through a sequence of live, sensory moments designed to surprise and connect.
Forte da Crismina has quickly become one of our favorite venues for small-scale events with big impact. It’s proof that you don’t need to go far to feel transported, just the right space, the right energy, and the right team behind it.
