Immersive Gymkhana in Historic Toledo

In June, we had the pleasure of hosting a memorable event in the heart of Toledo, a city known for its rich tapestry of history and culture. Sixty eager participants joined us for an interactive scavenger hunt (gymkhana) with iPads designed to be both fun and educational, providing a one-of-a-kind way to experience the city, as well as, showcasing the power of interactive experiences to make history engaging.
Unique Adventure Through Toledo's Heritage
Participants roamed the narrow, ancient streets of Toledo, uncovering stories and secrets of the city through a series of creative tasks and challenges. The gymkhana was far more than a typical scavenger hunt; it was an immersive journey that blended exploration with interactive experiences. Each stop was carefully crafted to showcase a different aspect of Toledo’s heritage, from its medieval architecture to its rich culinary traditions.
Tastings, Characters, & Cultural Encounters
Throughout the day, participants engaged in hands-on activities like gastronomic tastings that introduced them to Toledo’s unique flavors. Specially created themed characters appeared at different points to share stories, reenact historical scenes, and guide participants through their tasks, making the experience even more dynamic and memorable.
Perfect Fusion of Learning & Leisure
This gymkhana was designed not just to entertain, but also to educate. Participants left with a deeper appreciation of Toledo’s cultural significance and its role in Spanish history. By merging play with storytelling, the activity offered an authentic connection to the city, making it both a teambuilding activity and an enriching cultural experience.
