Overcoming Personal Sport Challenges

I have never been a great sportsman, but one thing is clear to me, I never take no for an answer.

During an inspection visit in Granada, some clients, among other activities, tried two: canyoning in Rio Verde and skiing in Sierra Nevada.

The clients offered me to join the activities and although I thought about it, I decided to do them, the canyoning in Rio Verde was an incredible experience, it has a multitude of natural aquifers that continuously feed the canyon making its pools are full of water. The canyon has 4 jumps, one of them being over 20 meters, the descent with rope in a waterfall, the jumps into the void and natural slides of 10 meters, it was certainly an experience that I will not forget, full of excitement and adrenaline!

The next day, although many people don't know it, Granada has a mountain and ski resort called Sierra Nevada, the only one in the south of Spain. My first time on skis, the clients, who were real professionals, taught me some techniques and I was able to slide down the easiest slopes.

Everything was going well until we separated, so they could ski on more professional slopes. Suddenly, I receive a call, they had sat down in a restaurant for lunch, they send me the location, in the middle of a very steep slope and which can only be reached by skiing, I was ashamed to say no and I said "sure, give me 15 minutes and I'll be there" when I got to the slope I saw that it was very steep and I decided to jump, I lasted 10 seconds standing up, I fell to the ground, the children helped me to get up and I fell again, I decided to take off my skis and throw myself down as if it were a slide. I still remember our guests laughing their heads off watching me slide down the slope, while everyone passed and laughed at me, without doubt the most "tierra trágame" moment of my life, Spanish expression used in difficult moments and where the person wishes they vanish, but I would do it again without a doubt, what a laugh!

What will be the next sport in which I will put my life at risk?
