Beato Quarter

Lisbon is forever improving areas of the city, this time we are putting the spotlight on Eastern Lisbon. In the past it was an ugly industrial location, until it as chosen to be the site of the last World Fair of the 20th century, Expo 98. Since the fair, this quarter of the city was reborn into a futurist and modern district that is home to a few striking contemporary architectures. As well as being the chosen location for a few cool products in town, such as:
 
Praça do Beato:  A new creative hub in Beato with an industrial edge, characteristic of the eastern part of Lisbon. Praça aims to showcase flavors from all over the country to Lisbon, allowing you to taste and buy the best that of the Portuguese products. Moreover, it features a well-stocked bar and delicious restaurants for those just wishing to grab a bite.
Convento do Beato: an imponent building that dates back to the 16th century, which was refurbished during the pandemic, it’s now the perfect marriage between modern and classic. Not to mention, your go-to venue for large events up to 1200 people in Lisbon.
Lisbon Oceanarium: This oceanarium does the extra mile by creating a unique corporate visit to the premises where sustainability is the main guest. Or for those willing to have a more hands-on approach, they have developed CSR programs outside the oceanarium with their biologists. Finally, versatile location features 2 incredible event rooms and auditorium, perfect for events up to 200 people.  
Capricciosa Event Room: A modern space adjacent to the Tagus river, with 300m2 of flexible space that can be the perfect location for a seated down dinner, meeting room or even a location of teambuilding activity. Depending on the set-up it can host up to 300 people.
