New hotel openings in Portugal
For new coming year
With 2023 around the corner, Portugal is already announcing the new properties openings from North to South.
Until now these are new properties announced:
- South: Algarve will have Marriott Lagos, situated near the Porto de Mós Beach. The property will count with 201 rooms, taking under its wing leisure and sports segment, counting with various atheletes activities, gym, spa, and movie room.
- Capital: Lisbon will count with Moxy Alfragide, the hotel will focus on a space dedicated to business activities, such as social and coworking spaces. As well as, 218 rooms, exterior swimming pool, meeting rooms, restaurant, and bar.
- Center: Tomar, Vila Galé Collection Tomar is located in the center of town, recuperating ancient Convent of Santa Iria and Feminine School. Transforming both locations into unique 4 stars property, with 100 rooms, restaurant, bar, spa, exterior pool, as well as convention hall for more than 200 people.
- North: Vila Nova de Gaia, The Riverview, the Tribute Portfolio Hotel, will be created. It is an urban renewal project located two minutes from the D. Luís I Bridge. It will have 70 rooms, a swimming pool, bar, and gym.
- Azores: São Miguel Island will have in center of Ponta Delgada Vila Galé Collection São Miguel, they will be renovating old Convent & Hospital of São Francisco, converting it into a charming hotel, in partnership with Santa Casa da Misericórdia. The property will have 93 rooms, restaurants, bar, pools, and spa & wellness center.
