Tarragona is an open-air museum, as you can walk through the different centuries of history just by crossing the road.
It’s crucial to visit the World Heritage Site of Tarraco, a fascinating archeological complex. You’ll be walking through the first city founded by the Romans outside of Italy, during the tour we’ll visit the surviving Roman Walls, the Old Forum Square, go up the Praetorium Tower to admire the city’s mesmerizing views, the circus where chariot races used to take place and finishing at the arena of the amphitheater where the gladiator’s fights use to take place. An add-on, to the tour is visiting the Cathedral, considered the largest in all of Catalonia, it’s an incredible example of transition from Romanesque to Gothic, which façades sculptural ensemble and rose window stand out, and last but not least, take the time to appreciate the beauty of its cloister’s incredible luminosity, making it unique from an architectural viewpoint
Another way of breathing Tarragona history is hoping on e-bikes guided tour, taking you from the Roman amphitheater to the beautiful beaches, the port, the typical fishing district of El Serralo, going up to the cathedral, giving you a phenomenal overview of the Roman and medieval past of the city.

Tarragona became an important industrial center in the 19th century, during which several families made their fortune with production and commercialization of spirits and liquors, showing off their wealth, by building incredible private Family homes, in an architectural style known as Modernisme.
