Sitges is a quaint Mediterranean town just 30 minutes southwest of Barcelona; it’s been a resort classy town since the 19th century, enhanced with an array of galleries and museums, incredible high-class restaurants along the promenade and an incredibly rich historical center.

Yet, this Mediterranean pearl has a strong MICE vein, offering a combination of 3,000 beds in between 4 & 5 stars hotels, staggering auditorium for 1,384 people, a convention center for 500 attendees and a total of 15 unique venues with capacity up of 1,000 people. A gem property for meeting segment is Meliá Sitges, offering 307 rooms and its located 10 minutes from the center of Sitges, close to the Aigudolç Marina. Its facilities to accommodate corporate events include, a well-equipped and modern business center with 4.500m2 featuring 26 meeting rooms and auditorium that can cater groups from 10 to 1384 people, two restaurants both with terraces where the capacity can vary from 160 to 400 people, 1000m2 garden that can be used for coffee breaks, cocktails and dinners. For smaller and intimate meetings, ME Sitges Terramar is ideal with only 213 rooms with the beach across the street and 5 minutes from the center of town. It has a contemporary and clean décor throughout the rooms, 8 spacious meeting rooms with maximum capacity of 400 people, two restaurants and 3 bars, including a rooftop terrace, perfect for dining and sunset evening cocktails.

One of our favorite evening venues is Finca Mas Solers, a Catalan mansion in late 19th century Renaissance style that, during its golden age, housed the former Gran Casino Barcelona, a glamourous prime location 5 minutes from the heart of Sitges, featuring 4 indoor and outdoor spaces, each one of them with its own wow-factor and offering a maximum capacity of 950 people for banquet and 1400 people for cocktail. In the center of town, Casa Bacardi is also a great venue option, more casual and funky; it can be combined with Rum cocktail workshops, finishing with dazzling finger food, for groups up to 120 people.  Along the Sitges promenade there are several restaurants specially for seafood lovers, from casual ambience up to 250 pax, like Pic Nic or El Vivero, to more sophisticated settings like Can Laury or Fragatta.
