The 25th edition of the World Travel Awards took place in Athens on the 30th of June. An entity who serves to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the global travel and tourism industry.
Throughout the event Portugal was awarded a total of 36 prizes, it’s an incredible honor for Portugal to have won these awards. As Portugal’s Secretary of State for Tourism said last year at WTA in Vietnam about the country “An authentic, innovative, reinvented country that combines a wide variety of experiences and landscapes, a country that combines cosmopolitanism, history, tradition, sun, nature and gastronomy. A country that knows and enjoys to welcome everyone.”
We are honored to announce that Abreu Events won the prize of Portugal’s Leading Destination Management Company for the third consecutive year, during the 27th edition of the World Travel Awards. A recognition of our work that began in 1978 and hopefully will continue to thrive for many years to come.
