Another blissful location in the heart of North Alentejo is Montargil, adjacent to an immense dam and water reservoir, offering a unquestionable breathtaking beauty, enhanced by the local wildlife and peculiar bird species.

The village built on a hill above the dam, surrounded by a never-ending cork trees scenery and featuring  one of the most beautiful baroque churches in the region.  In order to truly admire this glamorous  landscape we invite you to join a hot-air balloon ride at sunrise, followed by luxurious picnic with champagne on a cork tree and spring flower field. For the those enthusiastic of sports, the dam offers all sorts of aquatic activities such as, wakeboard, wakeskate, Jet Ski, kayak, SUP Paddle and boat rides.
 
Not far from Montargil, is “Monte da Ravasqueira” wine estate, belonging to the José de Mello family for three generations. Its vineyard covers a total of 3000 hectares. Apart from their renowned and awarded wines, “Monte da Ravasqueira” produces its own high quality olive oil, which can be combine with a wine tasting. A curious fact about the family is their passion for the “Lusitano” horse and horse carriages, showcasing in the family museum one of the most extensive private horse carriage collection in Portugal, featuring different styles and eras. The museum is also an amazing venue able to host an intimate private gatherings and for large events there's an arena with the capacity of 180 people.
