The World Tour Red Bull Cliff Diving 2018 returns to the Azores for the seventh consecutive year held in the islet of Vila Franca do Campo (São Miguel Island) on the 13th and 14th of July.
The islet of Vila Franca do Campo is formed by the crater of an old underwater volcano that encloses a natural lagoon. The winds from the Atlantic blowing on the islet are likely to create challenging conditions resulting in an exciting competition.
Watching this competition is definitely a roller-coaster ride, you’ll feel the emotion with the divers as they’ll be jumping from a height of 27 meters (roughly) and reaching a speed up to 85 kilometers per hour! It’s impossible not to stay until the end…
