From 1 to 4 September 2025, the city of Funchal, on Madeira Island, will once again host the ICSI2025 – 6th International Conference on Structural Integrity, a leading international event in the field of structural engineering and materials.
Held at the Pestana Casino Park Hotel & Casino, the venue where it all began 11 years ago, ICSI2025 returns with a high-level scientific programme, in an environment that combines academic rigour with the natural beauty of Madeira. Overlooking the Atlantic and just minutes from downtown Funchal, the venue offers the ideal setting for debate, knowledge sharing, and networking.
A flagship conference in international engineering
ICSI focuses on all scales and aspects of structural integrity, with particular emphasis on multiscale and multiphysics approaches, new applications in advanced materials, and demanding environmental contexts. The 2025 edition will also host the associated REOTech – Renewable Energies and Ocean Technologies conference, fostering synergies between both events.
Publications and scientific recognition
Conference papers will be published in open access by Elsevier’s Procedia Structural Integrity, with a selection of the best contributions to be published in top-tier scientific journals.
