Cities are increasingly committed to sustainability, Madrid is one of those European capitals that has been consistently improving and developing green spaces, for the perfect balance between modern urbanism and nature.
 
There are few parks in the Spanish capital where it is possible to organize outdoor activities and private events. The most well-known park in Madrid is El Retiro, featuring the Crystal Palace and the Pond with the monument of King Alfonso XII known as “el Pacificador”. Another gem of the park are the cable cars that connects with “Casa de Campo”, the old Royal Hunting grounds, where you can enjoy magnificent views of Madrid’s skyline with especial emphasises to the Royal Palace and Cathedral of the Almudena.
 
Without a doubt the park that stands out the most is Madrid Río, designed around the Manzanares River. It’s a true oasis with gardens, dams & modern designer bridges.
