HEPS 2019 International Conference

Between July 3 and 5, 2019, Lisbon will be the venue of the International Conference HEPS 2019 - Healthcare Ergnomics and Patient Safety whose motto in 2019 is ''Building Health and Social Care Systems for the Future: Demographic Changes, Digital Age and Human Factors''.

The conference focuses on the current issues of the transformation of health and social care systems, among which the complexity of healthcare delivery means that there are extensive opportunities for human factors to contribute to improvements in working conditions and patient safety, technology has the potential to transform healthcare, placing the patient at the center of the healthcare ecosystem, also looking at healthcare workers, among other topics.

Supported by the International Ergonomics Association (IEA), the HEPS Conference brings together researchers and practitioners from ergonomics and medicine to exchange experiences and knowledge on the performance of health systems, health professionals, wellness and patient safety.

As organizer of the event, Abreu Events is responsible for the website, registrations, abstracts platform, accommodation and secretariat.
