ESCV 2026: Porto to Host the 28th Annual Conference of the European Society for Clinical Virology
From 16 to 19 September 2026, the city of Porto will become the European hub for Clinical Virology with the 28th Annual Conference of the European Society for Clinical Virology (ESCV). This leading international meeting will bring together experts, researchers, and healthcare professionals to discuss the latest scientific advances, foster collaboration, and address global challenges in the field of viral infections.

The conference will take place at the Super Bock Arena, a modern and multifunctional venue located in one of the city’s most vibrant areas, providing the ideal setting for knowledge sharing and networking.

As a result of the growing relationship between Portuguese and Spanish physiatrists in the field of MFR, the I Iberian Neurorehabilitation Conference, which take place on the 18th and 19th of November in Lisbon, and which will be organized by Abreu Events, naturally emerged.
It is a biennial event, alternating between Portugal and Spain, with trainers, moderators, speakers and guests from the 2 countries that are in a growing and exciting phase with regard to Neurorehabilitation.
The Program has practical workshops, with Portuguese and Spanish trainers, as well as a live demo and communications on current topics in Neurorehabilitation.
The 2022 congress in Lisbon will be the biggest PRM event in the world. For the first time the International Society Congress (ISPRM), the European Society Congress (ESPRM), as well as the Portuguese Congress (SPMFR) will be joined in one only and incredible event!
SPRM/ESPRM/SPMFR 2022 Congress will take place at Centro de Congressos de Lisboa from 3 to 7 July 2022, were more than 2.000 attendees from more than 50 countries are expected.
This event is the result of a partnership with the Portuguese Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, with whom we have been working since 2018 in the organization of other national and international events and which is an associate of the International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ISPRM) which acts as a World Agency of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (PRM) and is considered, as a non-governmental organization in relation to the World Health Organization (WHO).
The 7th World Curriculum Studies Conference of the International Association for the Advancement of Curriculum Studies will be held in Braga, Portugal, on June 20-22, 2022. The conference theme is CURRICULUM IN THE POST-PANDEMIC ERA, and it is co-organized with the 6th Luso-Afro-Brazilian Conference on Curriculum Issues.
It is the seventh such conference, held triennially, following previous events occurring in Shanghai, China (2003), Tampere, Finland (2006), Cape Town, South Africa (2009), Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (2012), Ottawa, Canada (2015), and Melbourne, Australia (2018).
The conference will take place over three days and is structured in plenary keynote addresses, panels, paper presentations, and preceding workshops.
On the initiative of Ispa – Instituto Universitário, Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência and Fundação Champalimaud, the International Conference on Neuroethology (ICN) arrives in Portugal, which will take place from 24 to 29 July 2022.
This event is the official regular meeting of the International Society of Neuroethology (ISN) – an academic society dedicated to neuroethology – formed in Kassel, Germany, in 1981.
Neuroethology is a relatively young science that emerged in the late 1960s and early 1970s, focusing on the study of how nervous systems generate the natural behavior of animals.
The IV Ecoguided Intervention Course will take place on the 27th and 28th of May 2022, in the city of Lisbon, being dedicated to the LOWER MEMBER.
It is an event that is in its 4th Edition and has renowned guest trainers from Portugal and Spain, countries that are in a growing and exciting phase with regard to interventionist techniques in Pain and Spasticity.
The Program has a theoretical review of sonoanatomy and ultrasound-guided techniques, Live Demo and practical benches with models, focusing on Ultrasound and Interventionism in Pain and Spasticity.

From July 14 to 16, Ispa hosts the International Attachment Conference (IAC), the largest biannual conference on attachment, in partnership with SEAS – Society for Emotion and Attachment Studies.
The focus of IAC2022 is to support and disseminate scientific research on caregiver attachment and responsiveness throughout life.
Empirical, theoretical, methodological and translational submissions from researchers and practitioners around the world in all disciplines related to attachment are welcome.
Submissions from researchers at all career stages are encouraged. Submission of abstracts for the symposium, presentation of papers and posters is open until March 15th.
The event will have a hybrid format, with the possibility of attending in person or online – open registration.
