The XXVI National Congress of the Portuguese Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (SPMFR) will take place from February 26 to 28, 2026, in the city of Braga. This flagship scientific meeting is expected to gather around 300 participants, including physiatrists, residents, researchers, and healthcare professionals from multiple disciplines, reinforcing the central role of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine in a constantly evolving healthcare system.
Abreu Events Organizes the ABC 8 International Conference in Lisbon
The Advanced Breast Cancer Eighth International Consensus Conference (ABC 8) returns to Lisbon from November 6 to 8, 2025, reinforcing its position as the world’s leading event dedicated to advanced breast cancer. With an expanding international audience, ABC 8 is expected to gather over 1,200 participants from nearly 90 countries, including oncologists, surgeons, nurses, researchers, pharmaceutical industry representatives, policymakers, and patient advocacy groups.
Since its first edition, the conference has seen a significant increase in participation, reflecting the growing impact of its consensus guidelines on clinical practice worldwide. In 2023, ABC 7 welcomed 1,200 attendees (1,000 in person and 200 virtually), marking a notable rise from previous editions. The geographical diversity of participants highlights the conference’s global reach, with experts attending from Europe, North and South America, Asia, Africa, and Oceania.
ABC 8: A Leading Global Event ABC 8 stands out as the premier conference dedicated to metastatic breast cancer, aiming to establish evidence-based international guidelines for the treatment and management of the disease. These guidelines, adopted and adapted by various healthcare organizations worldwide, play a crucial role in ensuring equitable access to innovative treatments and high-quality care.
Organized by the ABC Global Alliance, the conference fosters collaboration among healthcare professionals, researchers, patients, advocacy groups, and the industry, providing a platform for knowledge exchange, discussion of scientific advancements, and the identification of future priorities. This year, ABC 8 will feature a highly anticipated moment: the launch of the Global Decade Report 2.0 (2015-2025), which will evaluate the progress made over the past decade and establish new goals for 2025-2035.
Abreu Events Organizes the International CIECA 2025 Congress in Porto
CIECA 2025 is coming to Portugal, and Abreu Events is honored to be the Professional Congress Organizer (PCO) for this prestigious international event. The 57th CIECA General Assembly and Congress will take place in Porto from May 27 to 30, 2025, bringing together experts in road safety, driver education, and mobility to discuss and develop innovative solutions towards the Vision Zero goal.
CIECA 2025: A Global Impact Event
Under the theme Assessing the Difference – Different Strategies Towards a Common Goal: Vision Zero, CIECA 2025 will provide a platform for discussion on the challenges of driver assessment, considering individual, technological, and cultural differences. Experts from around the world will present studies and strategies to enhance the way drivers are tested, aiming to reduce road accidents and save lives.
The event will be hosted by ANIECA, Portugal, an organization dedicated to road safety and improving driver training. The General Assembly and Congress will take place at the Sheraton Hotel Porto, located in the city center.
IFA 2025 Lisbon: A Leading Congress in International Tax Law
From October 5 to 9, 2025, Lisbon will become the global hub for International Tax Law, hosting the 77th International Fiscal Association (IFA) Congress. This prestigious event will bring together experts from around the world, providing a prime venue for discussing the latest tax trends and emerging challenges in the field.
Founded in 1938, the IFA has been a key player in the study and development of International Tax Law and Public Finance. This year’s congress will focus on two highly relevant main topics:
International Congress on Agroengineering with Abreu Events Organization
The thirteenth edition of the Iberian Agroengineering Congress will be held in Coimbra, between the 21st and 23rd of July 2024, organized by the Spanish Society of Agroengineering and the Specialized Section of Rural Engineering of the Society of Agricultural Sciences of Portugal – SCAP, being Abreu Events is the official PCO of the congress.
This is a biennial event that aims to be a meeting point for researchers and technicians linked to Agroengineering from Spain, Portugal and the entire Ibero-American community.

Entitled LAGOA25, the event that integrates the Portuguese Lions conventions, will take place from May 29th to June 1st, 2025 in the city of Lagoa, on the island of São Miguel, organized by Abreu Events Congress Organizer.
After more than 30 years, the Lions of Portugal will return to the Azores for their conventions, expecting a significant participation of members who will take advantage of the opportunity to experience the fascination of the islands with the occasion of their annual lion meeting.
