EWOFS 2027 Abreu Events Supports the Organization of EWOFS 2027 in Aveiro

The 9th European Workshop on Optical Fibre Sensors (EWOFS 2027) will take place in Aveiro, Portugal, from 7 to 10 September 2027, bringing together the international scientific and technological community dedicated to research and development in optical fibre sensors.

The workshop provides an opportunity for researchers, specialists and industry professionals to share knowledge, present scientific advances and explore new perspectives on the development and application of optical fibre sensing technologies, a field of growing importance across science, industry and engineering.

EWOFS 2027: Innovation and Knowledge in Optical Fibre Sensing

Optical fibre sensors play an increasingly important role in the development of measurement and monitoring solutions, opening up new possibilities across fields such as engineering, industry and scientific research.

EWOFS 2027 aims to encourage knowledge sharing and discussion of the latest advances in this field, bringing together researchers, specialists and professionals involved in the development of these technologies. By providing a platform for dialogue and collaboration, the workshop contributes to the dissemination of scientific findings, the exchange of expertise and the identification of new research and application opportunities.

Interaction between different perspectives and areas of expertise is essential to driving innovation and strengthening the connection between scientific research and real-world technological challenges.

Abreu Events' Role in Organizing EWOFS 2027

Organizing an international scientific workshop requires careful coordination, from the event's online presence and registration management to participant support and the organization of networking opportunities.

For EWOFS 2027, Abreu Events provides a range of services that contribute to efficient event management and a consistent experience for participants, speakers and the organizing committee. Through an integrated approach, each element is designed to facilitate participation, support the smooth running of the workshop and allow the organizing committee to focus on the quality of the scientific programme.

The services provided by Abreu Events include:

• - Website development and management, creating and maintaining the event's digital platform as a central source of information for participants.
• - Registration management, overseeing the registration process and providing administrative support to participants.
• - Conference secretariat, providing organizational and administrative support before and during the workshop to help coordinate its different activities effectively.
• - Catering, coordinating food and beverage services and creating opportunities for participants to connect during breaks.
• - Workshop dinner, supporting the organization of a social gathering that encourages knowledge exchange, networking and stronger professional relationships.

By bringing these services together within a coordinated framework, Abreu Events helps simplify the organization of an international scientific event, with close attention to detail and the needs of everyone involved. The goal is to create the conditions for participants to focus on what matters most: sharing knowledge, building new connections and exploring the advances shaping the future of optical fibre sensing.

Aveiro: A Setting for International Scientific Collaboration

Aveiro will welcome the international optical fibre sensing community for four days dedicated to science, innovation and knowledge sharing.

Known for its strong connections to higher education, research and technological development, the city offers a fitting setting for specialists from different countries to meet and exchange ideas in a rapidly evolving field.

Hosting EWOFS 2027 in Portugal provides an opportunity to strengthen ties within the international scientific community and showcase developments in optics and sensing technologies.

Abreu Events is proud to support the organization of EWOFS 2027, bringing its experience in scientific conference management to an event dedicated to innovation, knowledge and international collaboration.
