The renown Forbes compiled their top 50 destinations for 2023, to assist and inspire their readers on destinations around the globe. These locations range from quick weekend getaway options to trekking in the most remote parts of the earth.
 
About 40 minutes from Cádiz, you’ll find El Palmar de Vejer a small beach town that’s dormant in winter, mainly the locals enjoy pink-washed sunsets and scintillating swells – the ultimate surfers paradise from October until May. In the summertime is bubbling with people to soak up the Andalusian sun, beautiful beaches, and delightful tapas. It’s a perfect getaway location to relax after a program in Seville for instance.

Portugal has a few locations on Forbes selection, starting with Porto as publishers stated, “If you have not had the pleasure of visiting Porto (Portugal), it’s a must-add to the travel list”. The city pops up from the banks of the Douro River, Porto has an edgy yet sophisticated appeal that entices with its historical center, mouthwatering food, and divine wines from the region. Then, we have the Portuguese archipelagos of Madeira and Azores, very distinct destinations with phenomenal beauty. Finally, must taste the Madeira Brandy or even rum that’s only produced here!
The Azores, is on the opposite side of spectrum, a truly fascinating natural beauty, take their sustainability seriously and delicious to explore. São Miguel was the chosen island on Forbes selection, with stunning views that can be seen by hiking Sete Cidades and Miradouro da Lagoa do Fogo, due to its passed volcanic activity you’ll find a series of hot springs to relax in and can’t leave the island without tasting “Cozido das Furnas”.
